Former LSU ace, Aaron Nola notched his first major league win Sunday, holding the Cubs to five hits and four runs over 7.2 innings of work in an 11-5 Philadelphia win.  Nola also picked up his first big-league RBI with a run-scoring single as part of a three-run fourth inning.

The Phillies swept the Cubs for their eighth win in nine games since the All-Star break---not bad for the league's worst team. Nola's  performance came a day after Cole Hamels no-hit the Cubs in Wrigley Field Saturday.
