Former Haughton Buccaneer star and Mississippi State senior quarterback, Dak Prescott was named the Southeastern Conference offensive player of the week after leading the Bulldogs to a 42-16 win over Kentucky Saturday.

Prescott accounted for all six Bulldog touchdowns, throwing for three and running for three.  The six touchdowns tied a Mississippi State record that had gone unequaled over the last 63 years.

In addition, Prescott became MSU's all-time leading rushing quarterback while piling up 117 yards on the ground against the Wildcats.  Prescott completed 25-of-35 passes for 348 yards.
