Tim Fletcher: Astros Lose, Rangers Win

Last night in Houston, the Seattle Mariners lifted three home runs beyond the Minute Maid Park boundaries, including a two-out, two-run pinch-hit tater from Logan Morrison in the 8th inning in a 7-5 win over the Astros.

The Astros came from behind twice to tie the game but couldn't overcome Morrison's blast.  It's just the second win for the Mariners in nine games with Houston.

In San Diego, Texas broke a 4-all tie with a four-run seventh inning, highlighted by Elvis Andrus stealing home for the fourth time in his career. The Rangers' 8th win in their last 11 games allowed them to close within three games of Houston in the American League West.
