The LSU Tigers will be dining out tonight! There's a nice little restaurant in Auburn, Alabama named Jordan-Hare Stadium.  That is of course, the home field of the Auburn Tigers.  Auburn's mascot is the War Eagle!  And since the Bayou Bengals don't prefer to dine on Tigers... tonight they'll be eating "Eagle Nuggets."

Here are the ingredients you'll need...

  • 4 skinless, boneless War Eagle breasts (bonus points if you get the meat from the actual Auburn mascot)
  • 1 egg beaten (beaten as bad as Auburn will be after LSU comes to town)
  • 1 1/2 tbs toasted sesame seeds (toasted like the War Eagle secondary will be by the LSU receivers)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour (all-purpose like LSU wideout Odell Beckam Jr.)
  • 2 cups corn oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

How to make it...

Rinse eagle with cold water, pat dry with paper towel and cut into nugget sized pieces.  Fill your fryer with corn oil, heat to medium.  Mix the egg and water in a small bowl, add the flour, sesame seeds and salt, stirring until a smooth batter.  Dip eagle nuggets in batter and drain excess.  Add battered eagle  (haha... battered eagle!) to the hot oil, fry about 4 minutes until golden brown (or Purple and Golden brown.)  Enjoy the WIN!!!

*** Before you go out and kill an eagle, you may want check the laws on that because I'm pretty sure it's illegal.
