LSU Baseball players Zach Watson, Zack Hess and Antoine Duplantis have been added to the USA Collegiate National Team.

They will play for LSU Head Baseball Coach Paul Mainieri, who is coaching the staff for Team USA this summer.

Team USA isn't the same same Team USA that brought home Gold Medal after Gold Medal at the Olympics, since the Olympics has done away with the baseball. This Team USA will play 16 games in 22 days against a Minor League All-Star teams, and international teams from Chinese Tapei, Japan, and Cuba.

These LSU players will run into a lot of players they competed with this season. But this time, they'll be teammates. Fellow SEC players Zack Thompson (Kentucky), Will Holland (Auburn), John Doxakis (Texas A&M), Parker Caracci (Ole Miss), and Tanner Burns (Auburn) will also be on the roster.

Mainieri says it will be a fun experience.
