After three devastating injuries prevented three football players from Louisiana Tech from playing within their four year window, the NCAA extended an olive branch and is allowing these players to proceed with their collegiate career.

Wide receivers Richie Casey and Andrew Guillot, and offensive lineman Jeremy Graffree have all been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.

Casey, suffered a pair of knee injuries that caused him to miss the 2008 and 2009 seasons. He enters the 2013 season with 75 career catches, 764 yards and four touchdowns.

Guillot also suffered knee injuries that prevented him from seeing any action in 2008 and 2009. He has 45 career receptions for 373 yards as well as scoring one touchdown. He also recorded 14 punt returns for 168 yards.

Graffree missed all of last season with an Achilles injury. He has only played four games at Tech.
