The SEC Tournament seeding is out…Where did LSU get placed?
With the Tigers getting the series win against #1 ranked Florida they have received the 5th seed in the SEC Tournament held in Hoover, Alabama. Not a usual place for the Tigers to be in a upper middle seed of the tournament. However with LSU (39-17, SEC: 19-11) winning the last ten of eleven games, thanks to the "Rally Possum" they have alot of momentum and confidence heading into the tournament Tuesday May 24th.
The Tigers will go up against #11 seed Tennessee Volunteers (29-27, SEC: 9-21) who finished sixth place in the East ahead of Missouri Tigers (26-29, SEC: 9-21). The winner between the Tigers and the Volunteers will go on to face #4 seed Florida Gators. The Tigers have just won the only series between the two teams this weekend. If LSU beats Tennessee and gets into the next round it should be a interesting game to watch. The first round match up game time has yet to be announced.
