The New Orleans Pelicans lost their fourth straight last night, as the Portland Trailblazers got a little bit of revenge after getting swept by New Orleans in the playoffs. Last night, the Trail Blazers won 132-119 over the Pelicans.

Julius Randle led the way for the Pelicans with 39 points and 6 rebounds, while Nikola Mirotic poured in a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis was out again for the game.

The Pelicans started the season red hot, beating the Houston Rockets on the road in their first game, then beating Sacramento, the Los Angeles Clippers, and Brooklyn Nets to open the season 4-0. But since then, they've fallen to the Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, and now the Trail Blazers. It won't get much easier for the Pels, with San Antonio up next...in San Antonio.

The more losses that pile up for the Pelicans, the more the rumors swirl about Davis possibly getting traded. Davis will either be traded this season, or will have the chance to become the highest paid NBA player in history during the off season. But in order to do that, he's going to have to stay in Nola.
