The New Orleans Saints will get their first taste of the NFL Playoffs for this season next weekend in the Superdome. The Saints are the number 1 seed in the Playoffs, so they got this past weekend's worth of games off. But the Eagles did have to play, and after the dust settles, we now know that Philadelphia will be heading to New Orleans.

As the number 1 seed, New Orleans gets the lowest remaining in the NFC playoff bracket, which is interesting, since the Eagles are the absolute final seed in the playoffs.

The Saints cruised through the regular season to earn the #1 seed, and it's likely going to pay off early, since Philadelphia is probably the hottest team in the whole NFL rolling into the playoffs. The Eagles won their last 3 games of the regular season, oddly they haven't lost as after starting quarterback Carson Wentz went down with a back injury. Those last three wins, and some failings from the Vikings and Redskins down the stretch, secured them the final Wild Card Playoff spot in the NFC.

Now Philly backup QB Nick Foles will try to duplicate last year's Super Bowl run, but will have to go through the Superdome to make it happen.

The Saints vs Eagles will kickoff Sunday afternoon, as the final game of the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.
