The New Orleans Pelicans Bring A 2-0 Series Lead Home Tonight

The New Orleans Pelicans are heading back into New Orleans tonight up 2-0 in their first round NBA playoff series against the Portland Trailblazers.

Anthony Davis has been leading the team, averaging a double double over the first to games, but he's been getting a lot of help too. Including point guard Jrue Holliday, who's been scoring like crazy while providing suffocating defense that's sucked the life out of Portland’s star duo of CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard.

Pelicans Senior Vice President of Sales Mike Stanfield says New Orleans’ stars are putting on a clinic.The team is planning to throw a party for fans in attendance, with free tee-shirts, pep rallies, and a fan fest outside today. A party fit for a team who hasn't hosted a playoff game in 3 years, and hasn't had 2 playoff wins in a year since 2011.
