Tonight, fans of the hit TV show, Antiques Roadshow, will finally get to see the first of several episodes featuring Louisiana.

While I can certainly sympathize with that emotion, we have to understand that there are two sides to this argument and apparently neither side is willing to settle.

As a kid growing up here in Shreveport I loved all the incredible TV shows that were made right here locally.

The beauty of professional wrestling is that you never quite know if what you saw was real or not.  Monday Night RAW was in Montreal this week and Jerry Lawler collapsed on live TV.   Fans may have been unsure if they were being put on or not.  The truth is that Jerry Lawler suffered a heart attack on live TV.

Andy Griffith, star of The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock died this morning at his home in Dare County, North Carolina around 7 a.m.

To me, TV just ain't what it used to be. I believe the best era of television was when I was growing up in the 1960's, with shows like "Andy Griffith",  "Gunsmoke" and many others. Today I can't find anything as good those two examples with hundreds of channels to choose from.
