We all know that the rain has been coming down pretty hard in the Shreveport/Bossier area for the last few days. There have been points where the water has flooded roadways to where cars cannot make it through, but I don't know that I've ever seen anything like this...

Yesterday was another record hot day in Shreveport-Bossier with temperatures climbing to 107. The previous record was 104. The record for August 17th is 106 and we could surpass that later today. The old record was set back in 1951.

We need rain in Shreveport-Bossier so bad. There are burn bans and fireworks bans all over the Arklatex. I tried a rain dance but it hasn't helped, I never was good at dancing anyway.
