Did you know that it ain't over till the fat lady sings? The first to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans. The Mayan calendar predicted that the earth would end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, they were only close but no cigar.
