Lolo Jones

Former LSU hurdler and current US Olympic bobsledder Lolo Jones has been confined to her hotel room in Sochi bothered by cold symptoms for the last few days.

It's rare that a Louisiana athlete competes in the Winter Olympics. It's also rare that an athlete competes in the Summer and Winter Olympic games. And that's why Lolo Jones is such a big deal.

Olympic fever is spreading with the London Olympics opening in just one week.  Three U.S. medal hopefuls grace the cover of this week's Time Magazine cover, former LSU great Lolo Jones is one of those to be featured on the cover and inside.

Of all the US athletes set to participate in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, none have captured our hearts more so than Lolo (real name Lori) Jones. And why not?

Has Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones, who famously tweeted that she’s a virgin, finally found the perfect man? On ‘The Tonight Show‘ last night, Jones jokingly said she’s got her eye on none other than Tim Tebow. Now Tebow has yet another reason to take a knee.

The countries best Track & Field athletes have landed in Eugene, Oregon for the U.S. Olympic Trials.  There are 16 former, current, and future LSU athletes who will be competing for spots on the Olympic team.
