Relieved though we are to have all those Jon Snow shenanigans behind us on Game of Thrones, we’ll admit that stars and producers did an admirable job clinging to the barely-there secrecy of Kit Harington’s return. Well, all except Harington himself, perhaps, who apparently spoiled the good news to a police officer in exchange for getting off with a warning.

It seems almost silly to discuss Sunday’s Game of Thrones without pointing toward the inevitable obvious, that the character everyone thought would come back to life … came back to life. Viewers perhaps weren’t expecting the twist quite so soon, but now it seems the erstwhile corpse of Jon Snow may put in more time with Season 6 than any prior year.

Well, if The Walking Dead warranted a second dip in the Honest Trailer waters, you can bet Game of Thrones would be taking a dunk. The latest spoiler-laden parody trailer for Seasons 4 and 5 (and a little of 6) has officially arrived, starring Littlefinger’s many accents, Stannis’ quiet brooding, and all the heavy metal covers you can handle.

Good news! Or terrible news. Now that we know Game of Thrones has officially been renewed for Season 7, talk inevitably turns to the number of episodes and seasons left, last estimated by showrunners around 13 hours beyond Season 6. Well, we might end up with a higher number than that, by their own admission, or simply call it quits with Season 7 altogether.

Chase hasn’t fully crossed out the idea of returning to the Soprano family in prequel, but a new chat sees the showrunner discussing a filmed alternate ending, as well as changes at the network that might have put buddy Terence Winter’s Vinyl into its current state.

You could say that Game of Thrones is a popular television program. People tend to follow its production, from time to time, and speculate on its future, one might suggest. You could also say that Season 6 has some anticipation around it. This epic second trailer for the April premiere would not dissuade this notion. Please, remain calm as you watch.
