Apparently DC’s Joker and Harley Quinn spinoff will be ‘Bad Santa’ meets ‘This Is Us.’

In Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn was one of the few shining spots in David Ayer’s otherwise messy attempt to introduce the grimy super-villain collective. Margot Robbie’s natural charisma elevated the character beyond Joker’s occasional girlfriend and sidekick (and emotional punching bag), and she really zeroed in on the aspects of her personality that have made Harley Quinn such a fan-favorite. It’s no surprise that Warner Bros. is already plotting a pair of spinoffs for the character, but according to Robbie, there’s a third Harley project in the works, too.

It's true that Harley has had her ups and downs over the last few years, but she remains one of the brightest stars in the comic world, even if her past is being blacked out.
