A conflict between players and fans caused Tuesday night’s Boys state high school basketball playoff game between Evangel and Albany to end in forfeit with the Eagles officially earning a 52-40 victory.

Many Evangel fans have longed to face against the best competition and now that day has finally come. During the LHSAA’s reclassification meeting on Wednesday, Evangel filed paperwork and will now play in Division 1-5A for the regular season only!
