During a taping of tonight's 'Late Show', host David Letterman announced to a shocked studio audience that he would be retiring in 2015 after his latest contract ends.

The late night TV schedule at CBS is signed, sealed and set for the next two years. CBS just announced that my good friend and host of ‘The Late Show’  David Letterman and ‘The Late, Late Show’ big man, Craig Ferguson have both renewed their contracts through 2014.
