All Star Game

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano hit a 10th-inning home run off Cubs’ closer Wade Davis, and the American League beat the National League, 2-1, at the 2017 MLB All-Star Game in Miami on Tuesday night.

Angels outfielder Mike Trout drove in two runs with two extra-base hits, and the American League beat the National League, 5-3, in the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Target Field in Minneapolis on Tuesday night.

In a game where we witnessed a team get shut out for the first time since the 1996 All-Star Game, the game, believe it or not, was exciting. The National League, with a little "help" from Chipper Jones before the game, let it be known they want home field advantage in the World Series!

Monday night was a bomb-tastic night for the Home Run Derby, the signature event in preparation for Tuesday night's All-Star Game in Kansas City. While this derby, or perhaps any other derby for the rest of our lives will not top the 41 long balls jacked by then Phillies great Bobby Abreu in 2005, this show had some great fireworks too!
