Staind released their last album of original material in late 2011.  Since that time, the band's founder and songwriter, Aaron Lewis, has begun a country career, which has been well received.  His second country album, Sinner, debuted at #1 upon its release late last year.  Lewis will perform songs from his two country albums tomorrow night at the Riverdome at Horseshoe Casino & Hotel in Bossier City.

Even though he's writing and performing country music these days, Lewis says that Staind has not broken up.  In an interview with Rolling Stone Country Lewis envisions a time when Staind could perform and maybe even record again.  "Do I think there's room somewhere down the road for Staind to play shows in the summertime, radio festivals and stuff like that? Sure. Do I think I have another one of those records in me? Of course I do. All I have to do is live."
