Sportspectrum To Host ‘Roy’s Kids’ 5k Fun Run
Roy’s Kids is a local non-profit charitable organization whose primary goal is to help hard working single parents with limited income to be able to give their children the things that’s hard for them to provide, and assisting the needs of their children with gifts at Christmas as well as throughout the rest of the year.
They are holding a 5k Fun Run in order to raise funds for the organization.
Date & Starting Time: Saturday, February 13, 2016 the race will begin at 8:00am. 1 mile fun run at 8:00 a.m. 5k at 8:15 a.m.
Registration: Registration is $25 through February, 12. Race day Registration is $35. Bring an UNWRAPPED TOY on RACE DAY ONLY and receive $5.00 off your entry fee. You may pay with a Credit Card ONLINE ONLY at www.sportspectrumusa.com or pay with cash, check, or credit card at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, 71105.

T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Friday, February 12th from 10am-5:30 pm. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00am.
Awards: Great Prizes for Overall Male & Female finishers.
Additionally, 1st & 2nd Place in each of the age groups will receive an award.
Age Groups: 11-under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Post Party: Stick around after the race and enjoy music and great food. Post race get together at Rotolo’s on 70th street.
Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
