Two young children were caught in the act vandalizing a Shreveport School.

Officers say the kids are under the age of 10 and they were caught vandalizing the Eighty-First Street E.C.E School in Shreveport.

Police got a call at about 7 Saturday night and when patrol units arrived, the officers caught the children climbing out of a window at the Cedar Grove School.

The kids caused about $10,000 worth of damage at the school. School staff will be working to clean up the mess and get the facility ready for school on Monday morning.

Because of their age, it’s not likely the children will face charges, but their parents might have to pay for the damage.
