Shreveport Police on the Hunt for Dog Killing Home Invaders

Shreveport Police are looking for some of the worst criminals.  These scum-of-the-Earth house thieves are taking more than jewelry and electronics, they are taking these families best friends as well.  I don't mean they are stealing dogs, that would almost be better.

According to KSLA, the SPD is currently investigating a rash of break-in robberies in the Southern Hills neighborhood in Shreveport that have occurred since Friday!  3 houses in total were broken into, ransacked, and robbed of tens of thousands of dollars in guns, ammunition, jewelry, and other valuables.  And while those figures are disturbing, it pales in comparison with the damage inflicted upon these families. Several dogs have been shot, and at least one has been killed by these callous criminals.

The scene is so bad that the Morgan family has decided to move away from the place they have called home for more than 10 years.  One of their dogs was shot 5 times and is fighting for life, and another was found dead under their bed.
