Shreveport #118 On USA’s ‘Best Cities For Singles’

According to a recent study by personal finance website Wallethub, three Louisiana cities rank in the top 150 on the list of '2014 Best Cities for Singles'.

New Orleans led the list of Louisiana cities coming in at number 38. State capitol and college town Baton Rouge listed 56th, and our very own Shreveport crossed the line at 118 out of 150.

The survey ranked cities across 25 key metrics. Some examples include the percentage of singles, the number of nightlife opportunities per capita and mobile dating opportunities. When it came to 'economics of dating', Shreveport came in 87th. And on the 'fun and romance' list, we're #111.

America's Worst Cities for Singles:

1) Yonkers, NY

2) Hialeah, FL

3) North Las Vegas, NV

4) Brownsville, TX

5) Peoria, IL
