It's ugly. 0-2 is not the way you want to start your NFL season.

For Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints, that's exactly what they're looking at. The worst part, for the team and the fans, is that both games were competitive. Which makes for gut-wrenching losses. But it doesn't have Coach Payton down according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"For the 22nd time in the Saints 50-year history, New Orleans is off to an 0-2 start after losing 16-13 to the New York Giants. But Coach Sean Payton is optimistic the boys in Black and Gold can turn it around.

Cornerback PJ Williams is expected back in New Orleans after spending the night at a New York area hospital to have his spine checked. Williams was carted off the field after reportedly losing consciousness. Payton says Williams is expected to be fine, but it’s unclear whether he’ll be available for next Monday’s game against the hated Atlanta Falcons. The Dirty Birds are 1-and-1 after beating Oakland 35-28 yesterday."
