Family comes first, and when your family is in a scary situation, you have to do what's right.

For New Orleans Pelicans star Jrue Holiday, this means stepping away from the game he loves to take care of the woman he loves. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday has taken an indefinite leave of absence so that he can care for his pregnant wife who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Lauren Holiday, a former US soccer star, is expected to have the child in the fall and then undergo surgery. Doctors are optimistic that Holiday can give birth to a health baby and she can have a normal life after brain surgery."
