According to NASA, it's a runaway Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, and will plunge in fire sometime Friday afternoon.  The update says Americans shouldn't fear injuries to their pets or themselves, or holes in their houses, or cars.  Falling satellite debris won't be causing any damage this time.

Skywatchers who like to star gaze during comet streaks,  shuttle flights and satellite voyages, will miss out on the firey show because the junk will burn up in the atmosphere.
