In need of an upgrade at cornerback, the New Orleans Saints have announced the signing of free agent CB Brandon Browner to a 3 year, $15 million deal, with $10 million guaranteed according to Adam Schefter.

Browner, 30, was a member of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots last season, playing opposite Darrelle Revis in the starting lineup.

Undrafted out of Oregon State in 2005, Browner signed a deal with the Denver Broncos but missed the entire season with a fractured forearm.

After being waived the following training camp, he signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League, playing 4 seasons, earning CFL All-Star accolades and winning a Grey Cup.

In 2011, Browner signed with the Seattle Seahawks, starting every game that year, earning a Pro Bowl selection. In 2013, he won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks, before signing with the Patriots in 2014.

HUMBER RE-SIGNS: The Saints also announced the re-signing of special teams captain, linebacker Ramon Humber. The two sides agreed to a two year deal. Humber took to twitter to express his excitement.
