Saints Place Brandin Cooks on Season Ending IR

A national audience will watch the Saints on Monday Night, but they won’t see the Saints talented rookie receiver Brandin Cooks. Cooks has been place on season ending IR after breaking his thumb against Cincinnati.

Cooks had surgery on Monday.

Safety Rafael Bush has also been placed on IR. He joins Jairus Byrd and Vinnie Sunseri becoming the third Saint safety on IR. Rafael fractured his fibula on Sunday.

The Saints face the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.
