The New Orleans Saints have dealt with injuries and poor play so far this season, but none of that mattered as the team put away arch-rival Carolina on Sunday. Any accolades awarded to a Saint not named Drew Brees is a great sign at this point. So it's time to celebrate, according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Saints kicker Wil Lutz has been named NFC Special Teams player of the week. He kicked the 52-yard field goal that gave New Orleans a 41-38 win over Carolina.

Coach Sean Payton says rookie wide receiver Jake Lampman received a game ball for his efforts on special teams as he had three tackles against the Panthers after being elevated from the practice squad."
