Unlike some of his peers, Mark Ruffalo really loves to talk about what’s up in his corner of the MCU — and you can’t really blame the guy, since Thor: Ragnarok is the closest thing Ruffalo is getting to his own Hulk movie for the foreseeable future. As you may recall, it was Ruffalo who excitedly spilled the beans about Cate Blanchett’s casting in the upcoming Thor sequel, and now he has a few more hints about what we can expect from his awesome new co-star and her “evil” role.

Marvel recently confirmed that Blanchett will play the villainous Hela in Thor: Rangarok, joining Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in creating a bit of mischief for Thor and Hulk in the sequel from director Taika Waititi. But just how villainous is she? Ruffalo explains to ET:

She plays the worst of the worst. So evil. She is going to kill us. It’s such a great part she gets to play.

In the Marvel comics, Hela is the offspring of a previous iteration of Loki, and later dubbed by Odin as the Goddess of Death. Though she rules Hel and Niffleheim, the power-hungry Hela has frequently run afoul of Odin and Thor in her attempts to annex other realms. And now for a bit of fun speculation: With Hela in play, Marvel no longer needs to introduce Death, a similar character that attracts the affections of Thanos and ultimately drives him mad in his quest to control the universe (it’s like Macbeth, in space).

Marvel also recently confirmed a few more cast members, including Creed’s Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the eccentric Grandmaster and Karl Urban in the role of Skurge. Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
