According to multiple news outlets, including the New York Times, a mass shooting took place at a church outside of San Antonio today. Many of those reports indicate that the casualties are above 20, and there are at least 25 others injured. Both of those numbers are unconfirmed by authorities, and may continue to rise throughout the day.

The church is the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, which is about 30 miles outside of San Antonio. The church was in service about 11:30am today when the suspect came into the church and opened fire. According to the New York Times, Devin Keen, a Wilson County constable, said “there were kids involved” in the shooting at the church.
