UPDATE: Schefter would later report that Ingram has a broken hand.

It's more bad news for the Saints, who are off to an 0-2 start after being favored in their first two games.

It's even worse news for Ingram, who is in the final year of his rookie contract.

Ingram had run well over the first two games, averaging an impressive 6.0 yards per carry (on 24 attempts) and 3 touchdowns. He also caught 4 passes for 22 yards.

Saints head coach Sean Payton did not give details on any injuries at his press conference today.
