Recycling Christmas Trees

Now that the holiday season is over, it is now the dreaded time when you have to lug that heavy tree out of your house, risk getting pricked by all of the pine leaves and drop it off at your nearest landfill.

But sometimes, you may reconsider keeping your Christmas tree for awhile. What do I mean?

Here is a picture of our "recycled" Christmas tree, sitting in the front lobby of our offices here at KWKH. Isn't it beautiful??

What did we do different to our formely beloved Christmas tree? We transformed it into a Mardi Gras Tree!

As you can see, the tree has been decorated with Mardi Gras colors and Mardi Gras ornaments! Now we will not have to throw our tree out after all!

I would love to have this tree in the office year round! I admit the tree keeps me in the jolly mood!
