Rays Pitcher Chris Archer Shares an Unusual Kiss With a Fan

Fans interacting with their major league heroes doesn’t happen often, but when it does you can’t be sure how it will go.
Take the guy in this video, who had an unusual moment with Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer during a recent Rays game against the Mariners in Seattle’s Safeco Field. The fan catches Archer’s attention, at which point he blows him a kiss. Not, “Pitch a no-hitter,” “Strike out 15 hitters” or even “Hey, you suck.” No, he blows a kiss.
Archer isn’t fazed in the least. He catches the smooch and then throws it onto the field. So, Archer didn’t throw a no-hitter in Seattle, but he did throw an air kiss. That’s just as good, right?
