Last night was another example of how you never want to undermine the Rangers' offense, as they unloaded seven runs on the Padres. I don't think the Padres have scored that many in franchise history!

If there was any opportunity for Rangers' starting pitcher Scott Feldman to pick up his first win of the season, it was last night against the always struggling, San Diego Padres.

Feldman pitched 6 innings of effective baseball, allowing seven hits.

After allowing a Padres runner to cross the plate in the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Rangers' exploded once again, this time for 3 runs in the very next inning. That came courtesy of a Josh Hamilton triple, which scored Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler and then Beltre brought home Josh Hamilton.

Three innings later in the top of the 6th, Nelson Cruz doubled to center to bring home Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre. Scott Feldman wanted to help himself out: the pitcher got a hit and brought home Nelson Cruz! That made the score 6-1.

The Rangers' weren't done! Adrian Beltre homered to deep right, to make the score 7-1!

Behind the excellent relief pitching of rookie pitcher Robbie Ross, and Tanner Scheppers, the Rangers cruised to a 7-3 victory on the beach in San Diego!

You think the Rangers can come home back to Arlington with a three game sweep of the Padres on the West Coast? Tune in today at 5:35!
