The Rangers and Scott Feldman send an early message to the visiting Oakland Atheltics..."Don't Mess With Texas!"

Rangers' starting pitcher gets his second victory, a victory he's long searched for...since his first victory a long time ago!

Luckily the Rangers' offense was able to make Scott Feldman's vision a reality!

After the Athletics' Josh Reddick hit an early blast in the top of the 1st, Josh Hamilton grounded out in the bottom of the 1st to bring home Ian Kinsler, tying the game at 1-1.

Two innings later in the bottom of the 3rd, Hamilton does it again! And, guess who he sent home to score? If you guessed Ian Kinsler you win! By this time in the game the Rangers trail the A's 4-2.

But the bottom of the 5th inning is when the party got started! Elvis Andrus singled to center, and brought home Leonys Martin. Then, with the bases loaded, Adrian Beltre walks on 4 pitches, which sends home Ian Kinsler. Next batter David Murphy singles to right and brings home Elvis Andrus and Josh Hamilton. When the inning is all said and done, the Rangers grab a hold of the lead 6-4!

After a sac fly by Adrian Beltre in the next inning, to make the score 7-4, Rangers' relief pitching was able to cool off the A's hitters. Joe Nathan picks up his 18th save on the season in the 7-4 victory!

Can the Rangers go 2-0 in this series? We'll see tonight at 7:05!
