Days after many parents, students, and Parkway supporters rallied and met with state representatives in order to have a home playoff game at Preston-Crownover Stadium in Bossier, were left disappointed this afternoon.

Just hours ago, the Louisiana High School Sports Athletic Association (LHSAA) denied Parkway's request by an 11-3 vote, with one abstention, to allow the 8-0 squad to host a playoff game this season.

Parkway's principal Nicole Bourgeois filed a supplemental appeal to LHSAA to throw out the penalty.

The Panthers were punished after last season's home playoff game against Live Oak, when their coach Barry Musemeche was handcuffed and taken off of the field after refusing to take his players off of the field as Bourgeois requested.

Recently, Parkway students created a petition to plead their case that Parkway deserves to host a playoff game.

Tune into The Tim Fletcher Show Thursday, November 7 as he'll have an exclusive interview with Kenny Henderson, the executive director of the LHSAA.
