The 5A #2 Parkway Panthers led by future LSU Tiger Brandon Harris are 12-0 and tonight will play in the school’s first ever State semi-final game, when they take on #14 Covington.

If the Panthers win, they’ll move on to the Superdome for a chance at the school’s first state championship in Football.

Other games tonight involving area teams include, 1A top seed Haynesville against Kentwood. The Golden Tornados look to get back to the dome for a second straight year.

Many and Winnfield are also each in separate 2A semi final games tonight. Cedar Creek out of Ruston plays in the Division 4 semi-final.

Calvary Baptist in the Division 3 bracket, and Byrd in the Division 1 bracket have already secured their state championship bids and are idle this week before playing in the Dome next weekend.
