    State Fair of Louisiana Boat, Sport, and RV Show and Bass Tournament

    If you love the outdoors, the State Fairgrounds is where you need to be this weekend! The State Fair of Louisiana Boat, Sport, and RV Show is going to be three full days of incredible vendors, entertainment, kids activities, food, and even a bass fishing tournament!

    Doors are open from 10 am till 7 pm both Friday and Saturday and 10 am to 6 pm Sunday. Admission is $8.00. Kids 12 years and younger are free and parking is free as well.

    Monster Nation

    If you love to hear the rev of huge engines, then the CenturyLink Center is going to be the place to be for you with The Monster Nation Chaos Crew Friday and Saturday, January 18-19, 2019. Doors open at 6:30 pm with showtime at 7:30 pm each night. Tickets range in price from $13-$26 plus fees. Ticket prices will go up by $2 on the day of the show.

    The Krewe of Sobek XVI Grand Bal and Parade

    The Krewe of Sobek celebrates 16 years in northwest Louisiana this year and they're holding their grand bal Friday night at the Shreveport Convention Center. The theme is Disco Nights. Doors open at 6 pm with tableau at 8 pm. Tickets are $80 and dress is black tie. Then Saturday, it's time to let your hair down for the Krewe of Sobek parade on the Louisiana State Fairgrounds starting at 1 pm. Let the good times roll!

    The Krewe of Elders XXI Grand Bal

    The Krewe of Elders finally turns 21 this year and this time for the grand bal, they're going to Hollywood! See the 'Stars in Hollywood' this Saturday night starting at 6 pm at American Legion Post 14, with tableau beginning at 7:30 pm. Partygoers can enjoy a buffet, cash bar, and music by Lady Chazz and the Tramps. No tickets will be sold at the door and dress is black tie optional.

    Ark-La-Tex Antique Festival

    The Shreveport/Bossier Antique Festival and the Heritage Event Company are hosting the Ark-La-Tex Antique Festival, January 18th through January 20th at the Bossier Civic Center with over 100 booths with antique dealers from 16 different states. Tickets are $6 and are valid for the weekend. Parking is free.
