Operation Santa Claus Has Begun in Shreveport-Bossier [PHOTOS]

The Christmas Season officially began this morning at 10:00 AM sharp.

Just as the big guy has done for the last 27 years, Ol' Santa will arrived on the big red fire engine from the Shreveport Fire Department to get Operation Santa Claus under way!

He was joined by some of his friends from the Shreveport Police Department, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Department and Shreveport Fire Department. They gave Santa the lists with names of all the little boys and girls who won't have anything for Christmas without your help.

So, Jolly Old St. Nick has flipped the magic switch and opened the "Operation Santa Claus Phone Lines" so you can call in and sponsor a needy child.

You may also drop off toys at any Citizens National Bank location in Shreveport or Bossier City.
