Operation Santa Claus 5K Was Huge Success

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday for the Operation Santa Claus 5K.  What an awesome group of people to run with!  

We truly couldn't have asked for better weather and the campus of LSUS made for an incredible location...complete with lots of shaded areas from the live oak lined streets!

It was the first ever 5K for the McCoy family and today while most of us walk with a slight limp, the youngest McCoy boy, Colt, truly ran the entire 5K with the lion share of the leaders.

Though proud of the accomplishment of finishing as a family, we're most excited that the local children of Operation Santa Claus will be the ultimate winners!
