It didn't talk long for new LSU Football Coach Ed Orgeron to drop the hammer on a player...one of his first moves was to suspend a player.

The move didn't come as a random 'example making' experiment, there was actually a valid reason for removing the player from the team, but Orgeron didn't waste any time. Here's the story from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Orgeron has suspended indefinitely defensive tackle Davon Godchaux. He was arrested early this morning on misdemeanor charges after he was also involved in what the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office is calling a tussle with his girlfriend."
