NSU Prepares for Sam Houston, Interview with Jay Thomas

The Northwestern State Demons are coming off a big 49-12 win over Incarnate Word in the Homecoming game, I was able to talk with Head Coach Jay Thomas as he prepares his team for Sam Houston State on Saturday.

I talked with Jay Thomas at Superior Grill in Shreveport at Thursday's NSU Demon Quarterback Club Luncheon.

Among the things Coach Thomas talked about is the homecoming atmosphere from the past week, the upcoming matchup with Sam Houston St. and a special rivalry between two former NSU graduate assistants that were once roommates in Natchitoches but now find themselves as opposing Special Teams Coordinators.
