New Orleans Saints tackle Terron Armstead will make his season debut against the Lions. Armstead has been working his way back from a torn shoulder labrum.

Saints Quarterback Drew Brees is definitely looking forward to getting Armstead back on the field. Brees has been struggling to stay upright at times this year, and perhaps the addition of a healthy Armstead to the line for the season could do the trick.

Wide receiver Willie Snead will also make his season debut today. Snead was suspended for the first 3 games of the season, but then a lingering hamstring injury has kept him off the field since. But it sounds like he will be on the field today, but it will be likely that he will be eased back into the game plan. He might be on the field for only 20 snaps today, but at least he'll be back on the field.

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford has been dealing with his own injuries, and maybe that will help the Saints out more than their own injury status.

Kick-off is at noon.
