The Saints vs Eagles game was exciting Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana as Patrick Robinson scored a touchdown with a 99 yard interception.

Drew Brees now has 51 consecutive games with a touchdown under his belt and the New Orleans Saints were out front at halftime with a 21-3 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chris Ivory scored for the Saints on a 22-yard run in his first game this season.

Philadelphia picked up three points on a field goal kicked by Alex Henery.

The Saints gave Ivory a chance to play Monday night and he made his first carry of the season with a 9-yard gain. Then he made a 22-yard touchdown run that put New Orleans in the lead 14-3.

Brees passed to Jimmy Graham twice for a gain for 30 yards. Another Brees pass to Marques Colston for a 1-yard touchdown made the score 21-3.

In the 3rd quarter the Eagles' DeSean Jackson scored a touchdown with a 77 yard TD pass from Michael Vick and the extra point was good by Alex Henery. Alex Henery kicked a 37 yard field goal.

New Orleans Saints' Jimmy Graham scored a 6 yard TD pass from Drew Brees touchdown and Garrett Hartley kicked the extra point bringing the score to 28-13, with the Saints staying in the lead.
