If you turn up your screen’s brightness and squint really hard, you might be able to juuust make out the dim figures of Batman, the Flash, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman standing heroically in a new image from Justice League.

The photo comes courtesy of Empire. There’s not a whole lot of action, but at least we get to see all their costumes from a slightly different angle.

I sure hope the rest of the movie relaxes a little on the darkness factor, or the theaters will have to pass out night vision goggles to everyone. The only two heroes not visible here are Aquaman and Superman, the latter of which Zack Snyder says does have a big role to play. “Superman does play a big part in this movie,” he told Empire. “His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points...” he added, still apparently insisting that Superman is dead. Uh-huh. Suuure.

I’m not actually convinced that these are the real actors that we’ve seen in these last two photos. They’re so rigid and awkward, I almost think Snyder has life-sized mannequins with the faces of Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, that he’s dressed up in costumes and taken photos of to make it look like there’s a movie coming out. Hopefully the next image will be more dynamic and prove me wrong, but as it is now I’m not convinced.

Justice League hits theaters November 17.
