McNeese Loses First Game As A Ranked Team

It was their first game as a ranked team in school history, and it got away from McNeese State's baseball team. The 'Pokes' have made an impressive run this season, but the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs have had flashes of brilliance as well.

The two came together for a historic night for the McNeese program, but it didn't go the way they would have liked it to. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"The 23rd ranked McNeese State Cowboys fell to Louisiana Tech 8-7. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for The Pokes. The Diamond Dogs have now won three over a top-25 opponent this season."
