Mayoral candidate Adrian Perkins talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his plans for Shreveport if he's elected to lead the city later this fall.

Perkins, a graduate of the United States Military Academy and Harvard Law School, says the most pressing issues facing the city are the improving the economy and making the streets safe and says his first move as mayor will be to request the resignation of Shreveport Police Chief Alan Crump.

Perkins also discusses his ideas for improving business opportunities for Shreveport, which he says should be " technology based," citing other successful cities as models to be imitated.
