Mardi Gras’ Biggest Parade Centaur Tomorrow

The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade gets underway tomorrow afternoon at 4:30  from East Kings Highway at Preston.  The Krewe of Centaur Parade is one of the largest in Louisiana. 

It will feature floats, bands and four million beads, doubloons, and cups tossed to visitors.The route is now exactly OPPOSITE from what it has been in past years.

The parade will BEGIN on E. KINGS HWY, at Preston and will continue north to Shreveport-Barksdale Hwy, turn east and continue to Clyde Fant Parkway, turn north on Clyde Fant.  The parade ENDS at Lake St. (just before Sci-Port. Floats will stop throwing at this point.)
